Kauai
is the northernmost island in the main Hawaiian Island
chain. Its lush landscapes rising out of the Pacific Ocean,
and distinctive flora and fauna are the reason this island
is commonly known as “the Garden Isle.”
Waimea Canyon, dubbed “the Grand Canyon of the Pacific”
by Mark Twain, provides numerous hiking trails and breathtaking
views from its 4,000 foot elevation. The 17 mile Na Pali
Coast, created by millions of years of wind and water
erosion, offers lush green valleys, spectacular waterfalls,
and mysterious sea caves nestled in 4,000 foot cliff walls.
Being the oldest island in the main Hawaiian Island chain,
Kauai’s weathered mountain regions create a dramatic
backdrop to the sand and surf. Beaches make up 50 miles,
and almost 50 percent of its coastline. The iridescent
white sand and warm Pacific waters create an idyllic playground
for locals and visitors alike.
Kauai’s natural beauty and the aloha spirit of its
people are the reason why this island is so inviting.
Experience paradise, come discover Kauai.
